CHP's Zeybek reacts to the "Cooperative Case": Sooner or later, justice will be served

CHP Deputy Chairman Gökan Zeybek made a statement regarding the interim decision announced in the case heard in İzmir and known to the public as the "cooperative case."
According to the interim ruling, CHP İzmir Provincial Chairman Şenol Aslanoğlu , who is currently in pre-trial detention, was placed under judicial control and house arrest. Former İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer was also ordered to remain in custody.
"THE FUTURE WILL BE A FUTURE WHERE THE RIGHTEOUS AND FAIR WILL WIN"Zeybek made the following statement regarding the interim decision on his social media account:
The longer justice is delayed, the deeper the wounds it inflicts. Our Izmir Provincial Chairman, Şenol Aslanoğlu, has been released; however, his freedom is limited to house arrest. Trying to harm people with reckless political decisions only undermines social trust. Despite everything, I offer my best wishes for a speedy recovery.
The continued detention of our former Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Tunç Soyer, and some of our bureaucrats presents a situation that is unacceptable to both the law and conscience.
Unjust detention profoundly undermines the credibility of the justice system. The rule of law must not be forgotten. We will continue to stand with our friends and believe that, sooner or later, justice will prevail. The future will be one in which what is right and just prevails.
